Our Vision
Knowing Christ and Making Him Known
What we see is a multitude of people everywhere intimately knowing Christ and diligently making Him known.
Our Mission
Our Values
HONOUR is a show of great respect especially in public. We as the LWCI family want to be much more intentional about the way we honour God and people.
Malachi 1:6-8 ESV
6 “A son honours his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is my honour? And if I am a master, where is my fear? says the Lord of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’ 7 By offering polluted food upon my altar. But you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that the Lord‘s table may be despised. 8 When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favour? says the Lord of hosts.
The excellence of love cannot be overemphasised. The God we serve is love. Therefore we are especially committed to EXCELLING in LOVE for God and for all people.
1 John 4:7-12 ESV
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
LOYALTY implies a faithfulness or devotion that is steadfast even in the face of any temptation to renounce, desert, or betray. We especially desire to be loyal to God and in His service.
1 Chronicles 28:9 NKJV
9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
Mark 12:30-31 NIV
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
FORTITUDE is the strength of mind and heart that enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain or adversity with courage. Fortitude, then, may be biblically defined as that strength to courageously endure adversity, temptation, and spiritual assault, which the Lord graciously supplies by His Spirit and through the promises of His Word. We want to be known for Fortitude.
2 Corinthians 4:8-10 ESV
8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
